Aggregate device support

Hi there

I'm new to working with TAAE and I'm trying to use it for multitrack audio recording. To do this, I have multiple audio devices aggregated in an aggregate device on OS X. Does TAAE support this device type? If yes, how can I address the different subdevices and their channels?

I started with a simple application that just creates an AEAudioController in the AppDelegate and starts it. I'm getting errors in the log output:

TAAE: Input status updated (2 channel, interleaved)

What do those mean?

  • Multiroute and multichannel out isn't yet supported, I'm afraid, although it will be in the near future, as I need this for a project I'm working on.

    Can you give me more info on when you're seeing those errors? A sample project would be great.
