TPPreciseTimer, AEAudioFileWriter, AEMixerBuffer

I'm about to start using TAAE2.

I can't find an exact equivalent to AEAudioFileWriter and AEMixerBuffer.

Also, how does TPPreciseTimer behave when the app is in the background or is suspended but something is scheduled?
