Masking my voice
I would like to know if you think it is possible to mask my voice using in-ear headphones with a microphone, in order to make an app to help me stutter less.
I know that software active noise cancellation/reduction is in general not possible for background noise because typically the noise comes from every direction. The situation with our voice is different, as we know exactly the direction it's coming from and it is very close to the headphones microphone. Given this difference and the time constraints given by the speed of sound (through air or bones) and processing delays, would you think it is possible to mask my own voice?
Thanks a lot for your help!
